How can you help Doncaster Cancer Detection Trust?
Here are some ways in which you can help support Doncaster Cancer Detection Trust.
Friends of St John’s Hospice
Friends of St John’s Hospice donate annually whatever they can afford. Subscriptions can be converted by all tax payers. Any donations are always gratefully received. You can either send your donation by post (cheque or postal order being the safest way). In some circumstances a donation is made in memory of a loved one who has died.
Covenants
A covenant is a means by which you agree to donate a given sum of money on an annual basis for a period of four years. Doncaster Cancer Detection Trust will not only gain from your donation, but also receives the tax due on the amount of money. For example, as a tax payer for every £1 you donate, we will receive £1.28.
Payroll Giving
This system allows you to donate a fixed sum of money each week or month which is automatically deducted from your pay.
Legacies
Please remember the work of Doncaster Cancer Detection Trust and St John’s Hospice in your Will. Your solicitor will be able to advise you on the procedure for making a Will and including Doncaster Cancer Detection Trust in the list of bequests.
Fundraising
At present, we have a volunteer fundraiser who, along with fundraising colleagues, organises events throughout the year to help raise funds.
They welcome new members who are able and willing to help. We are also trying to establish small, local community groups throughout the Doncaster & District area, who are willing to raise funds in their locality.
